What We Believe

We believe in a loving God the Father, Jesus as God’s Son and our risen Saviour and Lord, and the Holy Spirit who fills and controls our lives as Christians.

We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and our authority for Christian teaching and living.

We affirm the concept of ‘Mutual Ministry of all Believers’.  All members of the congregation are encouraged to exercise their spiritual gifts in ministry in the congregation for the mutual benefit of all members and for the mission of the church.

We maintain the practice of weekly observance of the Lord’s Supper out of a conviction that it is consistent with the New Testament.

We teach and practice Believers Baptism by immersion which symbolises the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus and every believer.

We aim to share the gift of new life we have received in Jesus and to help those who are lonely, suffering and sick or in particular need.

We desire to demonstrate the love and teaching of Jesus
